Vitamins
Recently the need to be healthy has sprang up in American culture. People are attempting to live healthier by dieting, eating better foods, and exercising. What people are not noticing is whether or not they in taking the right amount of daily vitamins, minerals, and nutrients the body needs to sustain itself in a healthy manner. There is a certain amount of daily vitamins and minerals that the body needs to function at full capacity. Such is the reason why as people get older they do not have as much energy and they rest and sleep a lot more. Others sleep for the recommended 8 hours and still feel tired. This is because the body lacks key daily vitamins and minerals it needs to maintain a healthy demeanor. The cause of this is because even though we think we might be eating the right things, we are still not eating key foods that provide us certain daily vitamins such as vitamin C. Vitamin C is one of the most under consumed daily vitamins there is. A lack of vitamin C effects your bones, blood cells, heart, and nervous system. Problems that may occur due to a lack of the daily vitamin C are a low tolerance to infections, anemia, muscle degeneration, and an inability to heal wounds. Scurvy is cause by a lack of Vitamin C. Vitamin c is not the only daily vitamin which people do not get enough of. A lack of daily vitamin D can cause Osteoporosis, hypocalcaemia, and insomnia. Daily vitamin K allows people to store glucose and to create platelets. Without the daily vitamin K people would bleed to death from any cut to the epidermis. The healthy consumption of daily vitamins and minerals can help prevent, high cholesterol, arthritis, susceptibility to infection, and loss of nervous system functions. Foods that we can eat to include these daily vitamins and minerals are, Brussels sprouts, fish, green vegetables, beets, carrots, spinach, berries, and whole grains. A balanced diet should incorporate all of these daily vitamins and minerals too 100% daily value in order to deter these ailments. Over saturation of some of these vitamins and minerals can cause health problems as well. Health concerns such as bone and joint pains, dry skin, and fatigue can be caused by over saturation of vitamin A. Over eating amounts of vitamin D can cause disorientation, lead to a coma and even death. Vitamin E saturation can cause blood clotting which can cause a stroke, loss of limb, and hemorrhaging. All foods, vitamins and minerals must be taken in moderation. Too much of a good thing can kill you. A balanced diet is the first key to a healthy body and mind. Without balance and without daily intake of all vitamins and minerals, body parts start to prematurely decompose, body systems start to malfunction and ultimately death can occur in serious situations. A healthy person is a person receiving all the ingredients needed to mix and create a healthy body.
